How to embed a Livid video on WordPress

Using WordPress, you can use the block-based editor to copy the Livid embed code   straight into a HTML block.

How to embed a video in a WordPress site

1. In the WP editor, click the block inserter "+" button

2. Add the Custom HTML block to the page

3. Add your embed code to the block, a preview should be automatically generated. Click Update  

Embed in the classic editor

If you are using the WP Classic Editor, you can add an embed in the Code tab of the page.

1. From the share overlay, copy the embed code for your media
2. In the WP Classic Editor, select the Code tab
3. Paste the embed code into the page
4. Click "Preview" to see your video, or "Publish" to publish the page

Where to find your embed code

In Livid, go to the sharing modal of the video you wish to embed. This is accessible from both the library and the video page itself:

Check that you have the video IS NOT set to Private  . If you don’t you cannot access the embed code.

Set your embed options and then use Copy code
