Embedding content

Videos hosted on Livid can be embedded into websites. The embed code is provided on the sharing modal and can be customised to suit your needs.

From any video creator page, Open the sharing overlay via the Sharing button (top right) or the visibility status below the video:

To use embedding, your video must not be set to Private. Update to any other option to unlock the embedding option:

Livid supports a number of embed options.

Video size

Responsive - the video player size will adapt to fill the horizontal space of the browser/device. Aspect ratio will be maintained.

Fixed Size - the video player will maintain a fixed size regardless of browser/device size.

Embed configuration

Autoplay on load - automatically plays a video when a user arrives at the video page

Loop video - automatically plays the video again when it finishes

Start muted - sets the video to muted on play. Note some browsers automatically mute autoplay videos even if this is not set

Changes made to these options will update the embed code below. When you are happy with your choices, copy the code using the Copy code button.
