Video customisation is only available on the Pro plan
Every control on the video player has a level of customization. This allows you to fully control how you want the player to look to your viewers.
You can adjust various colors, positioning of the play button, along with setting the visibility of every player control.
To access the customization options, from a video page open the Appearance option under the video:
This opens the Customize appearance side panel where you can adjust:
- Button, accent, icon & text colors
- Add/Remove your own logo from the player
- Change the position of the play button
- Show and hide the following controls/options:
- Title
- Progress bar
- Volume
- CC/Subtitles
- Only visible if a transcript has been generated
- Quality
- Speed
- Chromecast
- Only applicable in Chrome or on Android when a suitable device has been located
- Airplay
- Only applicable to Safari on Mac and iOS where a suitable device has been found
- Picture in Picture
- Full screen
- The Livid Logo
- Share
Note: a play button will always be visible even if all controls are removed. If the video is embedded and autoplay is enabled, users will not see this.
